Artist Biography

Currently lives and works in Shanghai, China.

2009/2015 – PhD Art Studies at Faculty of Fine Arts of University of Arts in Belgrade, mentor PhD Art Mileta Prodanović. Defended oral and practical part of the doctoral dissertation: Ideals and forms of beauty in our tradition – Beautiful as God, on the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, 2015. The doctoral art project was discussed and analyzed through more scientific disciplines (ethnology, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, the history of arts and literature). The starting point in the research and analyzing the ideals of beauty, primarily in observation of the representative male body beauty, from prehistory to the present day, with an emphasis on building and formation of ideals of beauty in West Balkans. The doctoral dissertation includes written and practical interpretation, which was reified by multimedia exhibition (drawing – photo installation, documentary videos from Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, video reading Lullaby and sculptural installation The fan), which was shown from March 11th – 22th 2014 in u FLU Gallery, Knez Mihailova 53 in Belgrade.
