Lullaby

Video work Lullaby is a recorded display of reading the epic poem of the Kosovo cycle Three Good Heroes, with an unexpected hypnotic, quiet and calm tone. Video shows transformed an epic piece into the lullaby by reading tone. I have used many lullabies for the inspiration which I have found common ground with the epic poems. Both narratives are dominated by similar descriptions of heroes regardless of whether they are princes in fairy tales or heroes of an epic cycle. Hyperbole, gradations, supernatural powers of the heroes are characterized by common attributes. J.M / video, 2’45’’, 2014
